Slides that Mr. Green and Ms. Dowd used during CWW week in the library.
Start here
- Open Keynote.
- Create a new document with a white background.
- Save it on your desktop with a meaningful name.
- Change the size to 3000 x 3000.
- Click Document on the right and choose custom size where it says slide size.
- Change to 3000 x 3000.
Font
dafont or use fonts already installed on your Mac
(Remember, you must quit Keynote completely and then open it again for your newly installed font to work.)
Color
COLOURlovers - Choose from already created color palettes.
How to use the color palette in Keynote
- Paste a screenshot of your color palette into Keynote
- Click View / Show Colors and then follow the instructions in this video

(Sometimes I have to close and open the color picker to get it to work!)
Shape
Some tools that are useful as you use shapes to create your logo:
- Get rid of the default drop shadow in the Format / Style menu on right.
- Select multiple shapes and group them in the Format / Arrange menu.
- Move shapes in front and behind in the Format / Arrange menu.
Need inspiration? Look at The Noun Project or flaticon. Don’t download anything...just look for ideas.
